Can I cancel or return a gift card?

A gift card cannot be canceled or returned.

If you purchase something with a gift card and the product needs to be returned you will receive the credit in the form of a gift certificate.

Joe buys a $300 e-gift certificate from Acme Online.

Joe sells the e-gift certificate online for $250.

Someone buys it thinking they got a great deal.

Joe goes back to Acme Online and cancels the card and gets a refund.

Joe makes an illegal gain, and buyer loses money.
